Ama K. Karikari, Esq. is the President of Milestales Project Staffing, where she leads a dynamic team of academics, artists, and wellness professionals who design and deliver cultural celebrations, trainings, and consulting projects that foster inclusion, belonging, health, empowerment, growth, and organizational excellence.
Before founding Milestales, Ms. Karikari built a diverse career spanning finance and law, serving as a media and telecommunications financial analyst at Bank of America, a banking supervisor at the Bank of Ghana, an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, and senior counsel at Citigroup, Inc. She earned a BA from Harvard University, an MBA from the Wharton School, and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. With a unique combination of expertise in social issues, business, and law, she has become a sought-after speaker on topics ranging from personal empowerment, business development, and inclusion to cultural sensitivity, bullying, domestic abuse, parenting, and spirituality. She is also a celebrated children’s author, with published works including: Sunne’s Gift, Earthe’s Gift, The Talk: A Black Family’s Conversation about Police Brutality, Fairytale Land vs. Goldilocks, Freedom Day: A Juneteenth Activity Book for Kids, and Kwanzaa Nana is Coming to Town, which introduces a folkloric character to the Kwanzaa holiday. |
